Case 13 - Monson Center
Not your typical investigation, this trip was more of a walk through. Still incredibly interesting! The crew, including our new audio tech PJ, decide very spur of the moment, to go to Monson Center. This is a town that was left desolate because of poor soil or was it a native medicine man's curse on the land? They had a watering system, but they could get nothing to grow. The plots of land owned by the settlers there are meticulously taken care of, and they are cordoned of by small stone walls. We walked down the quarter of a mile road of the entrance to Monson and soon arrived to an open expanse of land. Raven physically saw a sign post sticking outof the ground marking the entrance to the town. There was nothing there. She became very affected by the spirits and had to leave the area, but not without one last call out to the group. "Listen for the drum beats!"
Beckah and the rest of the crew continued on. There were mists just hanging solitary in the air and a heaviness throughout the town. In one area Katie saw a man crouching getting ready to spring. As she hadn't really seen spirits physically before she was taken back by what she had seen. Beckah tapped into many different energies, but most importantly the medicine man. She felt that he did indeed "make the land go bad."
There were many spirit encounters for Beckah and the crew during this evening, but the most intrusive was on the way back. Beckah saw natives in the woods following them back up the trail. She felt that they just wanted us gone from their land. And as the drum beats, those echoed through memory of the town loud and strong.
We went back going back to do a deeper investigation. Check it out here
Our conclusion: Haunted!
