Case 9 - Dover Center
Ghost Quest recieved a phone call from Jim Haddadin at the Fosters Daily Democrat Newspaper in Dover NH. He was looking
for a ghost hunting group to check out the spirit activity in Dover NH. Ghost Quest was on it! on June 24th 2007 Raven, Tammy, Chuck, Steve and Paul took off and headed to Dover.
Tammy new the history but Raven, as usual, was kept in the dark. When they arrived it was a beautiful sunny New Hampshire day and everyone was out and about.
Unfortunately for us it meant alot of traffic and noise. Evps were a bust, or so we thought, as were pictures and video. Pretty pictures but not much on them.
Anyway. The frist thing that hit Raven was the spirit of a woman with long dark hair who
was "looking for her son". Tammy and the rest of the crew felt the charged atmosphere.
Walking down to the center felt like walking through snow. Both Tammy and Raven felt pulled to the left. Raven and Paul also felt a pull straight ahead.
As they were walking Raven kept getting the name "Frank" in connection with the town this
was later validated by a plaque in the center of town. As they were sitting in the center a name came to Raven which has not yet been
validated. It was the name "Steven Faulkner". He hailed from aproximately 1740. A wealthy man, he had a large house at the endof one of the main streets.
The second thing that hit Raven pretty hard was seeing bodies all over the center. These were the bodies of white americans and she got a date of about 1670. She saw a few Natives here and there but
not many in conjunction with how many whites there were.
She also didn't understand why the people were'nt in pilgrim garb. They wore colors, drab, but colors none the less. She felt the murders took place in homes as well. Like the "invaders"
went into the homes and killed.
Most of this became validated after they returned to their head quarters.
Meanwhile Steve felt children running on a little patch of green. He wasn't sure if they were playing or if they were fleeing. Raven felt they were running away from the horros
she had seen.
The name William began to pop up for her whenever she wanted to say another name, William is what she uttered.
We will add the history, which validates Ravens findings, and the evps we got this week so check back soon.
