Positive Entity Types
Spirits, just like people, come in all shapes, forms, sizes and personalities.
Most often the type of spirit you will run up against is what the Ghost Quest team refers to as
a mundane spirit, then there are grounded spirits, spirits in visitation, helpers or guides and many levels of angelic beings.Below you will find
information on each of these categories. We hope this helps in your labelling of the positive spirits you encounter
Mundane Spirits:These are spirits who travel. Not place
specific and not higher realm. But usually happy and watching over people. This couuld be your Uncle Joe, or some wayward hippy type just saying "Hi".
Usually they cause no trouble but if you talk to them they will find a way to respond. An example of one such spirit is this: A couple of the crew had been working a Ouija board
just to see who was around. They taped the session. On the tape, in response to "Is anyone there?" you hear contented male voice say "hey man"
No one "felt" anything and he didn't reoccur on the tape or at any other session. he was just "passing through"
Grounded Spirits: These spirits are here for a reason.
Something ties them to this plane. Whether it be a person, place or a personal issue, they are kind of stuck. Having a medium is useful here
to help the spirit come to terms with his/her passing or help them find a solution to their particular issue. Generally they aren't negative and
that's why they are included here. Most don't really want to interact with the human spirits especially those who are tied to a particular person or place,
Those who have issues may be in a particular area because they think there is someone who can speak to them and help them. In such cases you can sometimes get poltergeist-like
phenomena, but once the issue is dealt with, they will leave.
Spirits In Visitation: These are your fun spirits. They are here because they truly want to be.
Again they may be here because of a person or place, but they aren't tied to it. They usually have the same personality type as they did in life. Sometimes pulling silly pranks, sometimes giving you goose bumps,
but usually the living person has an "idea" of who is doing the pranking. They can make you feel warm with love and even console you if you need it.
They are free to come and go as they please and, in the case of being around loved ones, may "show" themselves to more than one member of the family. In the case of a place they may stay indefinitely, but the living usually feels comfortable with them.
Helpers Or Guides:
These are the spirits around you who give you that idea out of no where or help bring about situations that you grow from. Everyone has one that stays throughout
their lifetime, and others that come in and out of their lives for different reasons. They are rarely felt but are always there for your best interest. You can contact them through meditation
or sometimes simply asking for a "sign". They aren't meant to be like a mundane spirit, they are definitely higher realm.They also are noot tied to this plane
Angelic Beings:
There are many levels of angelic beings.They range from just above helper spirits to Arch Angels. The one thing they have in common is that if you need them, no matter the level, they will be there for you.
It is rare to ever get proof of these spirits but it has been done. When they show in form they sometimes appear human, (there is always something different about them and they very rarely use spoken word) or as a being of light with wings. You can feel them at the worst of times. The are the love that seeps in where none can. They help you when all is lost. As far as categories of Angelic entites
